LIFE FORCE ENERGY PLAYSHOP
Saturday, April 15, 1pm - 4pm

Come learn about energy fields (auras), energy centers (chakras), and life-force energy (chi or prana).  We will use guided meditations, games, and easy exercises to tune in to our energy, understand how healing occurs, and learn how to ground, calm ourselves down, increase the flow of life force energy through the body, and raise the energy vibration in the body.  Also, learn some simple meditation and breathing techniques.

YOGA FOR GRIEF
Staring in February - the 2nd Sunday of every month..1:30-3:30

Yoga for Grief is designed to address the needs of those who have experienced the death of a loved one.  Although the grieving process is different for each person, it often causes a sense of disorientation and fragmentation.  Viniyoga is a meditative style of yoga that is especially well suited to healing and is accessible to all, regardless of experience or physical ability.  One of the most healing aspects of Viniyoga is its emphasis on combining breath and movement.  This assists the individual in gaining clarity and focus by helping to regain a sense of being grounded and in touch with the body.  While the experience of grief varies for each person, many have found that a consistent yoga and meditation practice is helpful in moving through the grief process.
Kim Carter-Teacher $22

• Kim completed her yoga teacher certification with Tracy Weber of Whole Life Yoga, and is a registered instructor with Yoga Alliance.  Her yoga classes are inspired by her experience as a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and, as such, seek to touch all levels of being – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.  Her motivation for teaching is to help students feel at home in their bodies and connect with their inner strength and wisdom, thereby finding deeper meaning and joy in their lives.
